With long gnarly nails
Spit straight from hell
The angel arrived with a thump

She’d dug from the tomb
Of the terrestrial womb
Coaxing the young lad to jump

She looked so composed
The lad didn’t know
For his heart was deep in a slump

So jump; that he did
As the angel had bid
While the angel smiled and said chump

This scene is too real...being played out more and more. I cringe everytime there is an obit in our paper for a young person, and it says he or she "died suddenly at home" or some similar mysterious statement. I have seen too many of these unexplained deaths to not believe in fallen angels (demons) who roam the earth to wreak death and destruction.
But this is supposed to be a review, not a sermonette, so......your description of the bad angel and her actions is terrific! The poem is short, but brings the invisible story-behind-the-scenes to light in a creative way.

Blessings,
Connie

Dear Janna Hill, Very well written and to the point. If you permit me to say that I don't believe on bad angel. Keep in your mind only the good can fructued our soul. You will later understand, keep going you are in the best direction. Love Emile

I have never felt comfortable around those kinds of angels who transform into demons by then. Excellent write.

True to life. Reminds me of ghosts, too, cuz the bad ones thrive on fear; makes them more powerful. Enjoyed!
