Not my photo. My heart broke when I saw this -- yours should, too. :(
Mankind's need/greed weighs
heavily on my
wings, gets swallowed, breathed
into lungs crying
out with a voice of
S T O P -- I want to live.

|That's a tough one. Thanks for speaking out in behalf of those poor creatures. Sometimes I wonder how bad God shakes his head in disgust of what mankind does. Will we ever learn?

|KARLA - SUPERBLY PUT!
HOWEVER - I finally got the 'whole picture' so to speak. I have been bitching n' moaning for years now - about the 'CROOKED POLITICIANS' and the callous CORPORATIONS - blaming everything WRONG with America on 'THEM'.
I WAS WRONG! 'WE THE PEOPLE' ARE THE REAL CULPRITS! WHY?
For being blind, following, stupid APATHETIC SHEEP!
FOR RE-ELECTING THEM - OVER AND OVER, AND OVER!
FOR - NOT SPEAKING OUT!
FOR - NOT STANDING UP!
FOR - NOT FIGHTING THE CORPORATIONS!
FOR - NOT OPPOSING THE BAIL-OUTS ENOUGH!
FOR - NOT QUESTIONING ROTTEN, BIASED LAWS!
FOR - NOT SIGNING PETITIONS, AND BEING COUNTED AS CARING AMERICANS!
What do Writers, Authors, and Poets DO? BITCH AND MOAN!
BUT WHERE? TO WHOM? In essence, we at AD 'STROKE' one another - that's ALL!
Once, somewhere here, i think someone said there were 40,000 AD Authors - is this TRUE?
Or, perhaps it is less? 30,000 - 20,000 - only 10,000 ?
"Give me some men who are Stout-Hearted men,
and I'll soon give you 10,000 MORE!
Start me with 10 ..."
WAKE UP AND SMELL THE STENCH - IN CONGRESS - IN EVERY PAST ADMINISTRATION -
IN THE COURTS - IN THE CORPORATIONS - 50 YEARS OF 'OIL BARONS' RUNNING OUR COUNTRY - KEY-RIST ... DOES YOUR NOSE WORK?
'WE THE PEOPLE' ALLOWED 9 ASS-HOLES TO ELIMINATE GOD ...
AND YOU EXPECT HIM TO SAVE US? C'MON!
"GOD HELPS THOSE WHO HELP THEMSELVES!"
"THY ACTIONS ALONE DETERMINE THY WORTH!"
Sorry, KARLA ... I'm just a tad - PISSED! Peace - Tom.

|I agree with Andy. The fat filthy rich oil barons should be punished severly for there greed. Very good writing, Karla.

|I concur. Very well written. For a long time we've not need fossil fuels, but the fat cats have the last say. Or at-least for the moment.
Once the right stop thinking it's from God punishing us. Then the true can stand up in unison and bring the commerce rich kids to task.

|This is a freakin' disaster! The entire Gulf Region will be devastated for the next 20-30 years. They're still finding oil from the Exxon Valdez accident back in '88. Travesty.|

In the wake of this disaster, the real question Now is, are you still supporting "drill baby, drill!" sarah and her minions? If so, then you will guarantee that we all will see many more of the same kind of horrific images that you just posted here.

This picture voices billions of hearts screaming in pleas of help, yet un-answered. While our wildlife suffers the consequences of death in volumes... Honestly, I think this write should go into every newspaper throughout the world. Touching very touching.
