A Few Thoughts From a Friend
I listen to the
sunshine telling me to smile.
Yelling,"Stop whining".
Sad eyes remember
loving arms, urgent passion,
whispers and kisses.
The homeless woman,.
tangled hair, smelly clothes, fat.
Once a beauty queen.
Imagine a world
with ubiquitous kindness,
laughing and loving.
Hallways of healing.
Bodies making adjustments.
Death always lurking.

Thank you, Dan. Ms. Shaper's work is excellent.
My favorite, and worth saving i, is:
"Sad eyes remember
loving arms, urgent passion,
whispers and kisses."
My 63-years marriage ended in 2005. ,

the thing about a good haiku is they paint a picture in very few words. imagery is outstanding in each of these.
