This story tears my heart apart because this young man and I were friends.

Tormented by Demons so real.
A young man only twenty four,
With a very succinct and concious decision,
Plotted his own demise with such precision.

I knew this man I thought,
Many a glass wed raised in mirth.
I never imagined he would take himself,
From friends and family,
Here on this earth.

A perfectionist, yes.
An achiever driven to be perfect, yes.
By what force we may never know.
But in the end,
It came down to himself.

Walt, no matter how long or intently we agonize over such circumstances. We never find an adequate answer. No reason that fulfills our sense of logic. Tragic. So inadequate, but that is all I can offer my dear friend. I bid you love and peace. Jon Michael

Sometimes we can never truly know what causes ppl to make these kind of decisions, and that is the hardest part of it all! It is more tragic to those left behind, left to forever wonder..
Well written in light of this situation.

I couldn't upload the link, sad news. why we will never know. My first cousin and his wife lost their 16 year old granddaughter as a result of a truck rolling twice with four passengers. Their granddaughter was the only one who lost her life. She was so young and full of life who left this world in a flash. Take care Walt.......Ron

Sadly depression and mental illness rob all too many of loved ones and family that they cherish. All too often signs are either dismissed, not seen or regretably even ignored. I am sorry for your loss my friend...

Walt,
We never know the demons that are going on in another person's mind. So so sad, he was so young with his whole life in front of him. Its helpless feeling when someone takes their own life. God bless you.

Blessings,
~Linda
