Sage Sweetwater, unrivaled, bringing you the Upper Tier in lesbian erotica...Sage Sweetwater, the exceptional ARTIST of literary lesbian poetic prose...
tracks in the
new-fallen snow,
a blanket-wrapped
woman on the warpath,
heading for our coal shed,
little did she know -
marked with four
dead trees propped
up with rocks with old
white bed sheets you and
I fucked to shreds, landmark
that denote my heart and soul,
I barricaded our monogrammed
door,
woman on the
warpath staked out
my initials in green yarn,
snowshoe hare about to get
the woman caught up in her own
lair,
quail in their
isolated covey
feed, appearance
of a white-topped wagon,
1868, provisions in the law
let homesteaders take antelope
when in need,
ghost-like great
horned owl materialized
from nothingness, flew to the
coal shed, you played mandolin,
I took up the stove ashes, set the
coal bucket out the back door,
woman on the
warpath came for
the coal bucket, opened
the coal shed door, threw the
hot ashes inside to burn down
our passion, wasn't a coal shed
at all, was our white lightning cellar
exploding - woman on the warpath won't
come here anymore, day the coal bucket
back-fired on Babcock Ridge,
mercantile yarn bin
out of skeins of green,
Babcock Mercantile coal
shed where we get our coal
buckets filled now and again,
Ms. Babcock barricade our door,
deliver my pussy in the Night of the
Foal,
I...

| This is like riding a horse, western saddle on an unchartered trail full of sweet surprises. I enjoyed the 1868 reference. It's easy to get caught in the litany of descriptives that keeps the wheels turning down the page. Tim |

I love these early tales or "tails" from the old West, there is so much realism in them that you can feel the passion, the attitudes and the humour in each successive one.

So THAT was the explosion I heard - wow. Burning HAAWWWTTTT! passion in these fiery lines - great write, Sage, not exactly the kind of write I needed to read for a Texas heat wave - but a damn good one, nonetheless. Time for another cold chower! LOL Well done.
