|...and easy and elegant on the mind, more than just the mind, the soul. This is sensitive and such aware observation, Sage, and I love how the second stanza shifts gear to another more personal and intimate level. I've been away too long to catch up but I'm more than glad to be back reading you again.

|Great descriptive writing, brought me right back to the days at my gramma's house in Pennsylvania. She had one on her stove's chimney.
I wonder where that went. You are quite busy these days writing away, I am so glad you don't have writer's block like I do.

and abandoned places
I haven't been around
wood burning stoves for
quite a long while
the authentic ones that is
or pot belly stoves...
"forked stick guiding her dreams"
keeping love's hearth warm...
