This is why I love the guy I've got because this is about an ex

What was I 'er supposed to do
To let you know my love was true
Prove that I wanted only you
Where did it go so wrong

At first our love was oh so blind
Together we steep mountains climbed
Then jealousy crippled your mind
False thoughts of me grew strong

I lived for you - for you I breathed
Attended to your ev'ry need
Should I have cut myself to bleed
Fin'ly my feelings died

We pass each other now and then
You ask if we could try again
I tell you, "Adios, my friend!
Under your rock go hide!"

Jane, you shouldn't be holding back like that, you should just get it out of your system. Just go ahead and tell him exactly how you feel.

It is interesting that that's a glacial rock. As you so aptly point out, jealousy is an evil mood. Your poems are so revealing of the soul.

Although I believe their is a certain amount of jealousy in all loving relationships, when it gets excessive it can destroy love and bleed it dry as your poem suggests...
