This is a poem song I have written. I only play the panio in a limited capacity so have just a simple melody in an up beat tempo.

I'd walk a country mile,
just to get to you,
cause I love you so,
and I'm feeling blue
Darlin don't you know,
my hearts broke in two,
yes I'd walk a country
mile just to get to you

I've waited so long for
you to come back home,
you're always on my mind,
and I'm so alone

Yes, I'd walk a country mile
just to get to you ,
cause I'm all alone
and so very blue
You must know, my hearts
broke in two
Oh, I'd walk ten country miles ,
just to be with you.

There is more , but this is the general theme of my song poem.
As I typed it , the melody kept running through my mind. Wish you could hear it..
(Maybe some day it will be sung by someone famous)
It never hurts to hope!

Very Sweet lyrics Mary and I hear a tune...Maybe it's yours. I know what you mean about the song running through your mind. When I wrote "Sad Song" it started in the middle of the night and I had to get up out of bed to put it on paper. Then it rattled around for days in my brain. Patrick
