This is a poem song I have written. I only play the panio in a limited capacity so have just a simple melody in an up beat tempo.
I'd walk a country mile,
just to get to you,
cause I love you so,
and I'm feeling blue
Darlin don't you know,
my hearts broke in two,
yes I'd walk a country
mile just to get to you
I've waited so long for
you to come back home,
you're always on my mind,
and I'm so alone
Yes, I'd walk a country mile
just to get to you ,
cause I'm all alone
and so very blue
You must know, my hearts
broke in two
Oh, I'd walk ten country miles ,
just to be with you.
There is more , but this is the general theme of my song poem.
As I typed it , the melody kept running through my mind. Wish you could hear it..
(Maybe some day it will be sung by someone famous)
It never hurts to hope!

|Very Sweet lyrics Mary and I hear a tune...Maybe it's yours. I know what you mean about the song running through your mind. When I wrote "Sad Song" it started in the middle of the night and I had to get up out of bed to put it on paper. Then it rattled around for days in my brain. Patrick|
