I appreciate your shores...so

I am grateful that God deemed

in this land I should be born

It could have been some other place

where 'Liberty' is trashed and torn

Many have come to your doors

and you've opened them wide

Sometimes for this you've paid  a hard price

but your 'Freedom'...still abides

Now, I know you've been around a little while

you've been battered and show some wear and tear

But I want to say,  even with your imperfections

I am so Proud of You...and still Care

Every day...

no matter what your condition or weather

I thank God that in His sweet Mercy and Grace

He brought you and I...together
