"Within The Rainbows that Touch My Soul"

by Amber "V" Moonstone (c)

January 22, 2009

When Rainbows touch my soul,
Melodies of love are heard.
Tendrils of whispy clouds,
fly out of my mind.

Doubt is no longer present,
Only hope and light
remain within the rainbows
that touch my soul.

Laughter of a small child,
touches tenderness within
to embrace the child
that dwells inside everyone.

I stand beneath a moonlit night,
feeling safe within it's glow
connecting with energy
that makes life meaningful.

Nature resonates my essence
listening and smelling it's glory
proves to be illuminating,
rejuvenating and meditative.

Sincerity of thought,
Sincerity of action,
brings inner happiness and tranquility
within the rainbows that touch my soul.

An absolutely restorative write! Thank U, poet! I feel recharged after reading this. I am still meditating on the lines:

proves to be illuminating,
rejuvenating and meditative."

A beautiful write my friend, I love it when I connect with nature in such a powerful way. I love to feel the breeze blowing and caressing my face, whispering within my ear and touching my very soul! I love to feel the warmth of the sun's rays against my cheek, on my brow when I dig in the warm rich earth! Yes, my friend a touching write that makes me long for the warm weather that's ahead, for summer is one of my favorite seasons...I spend most of my time outdoors a rejuvinating time indeed! Loved it!

How appropriate to our situation in B.C. We live in Rainbow country, at least that is what the sign on the side of the road claims. Love the poem, the rhyme and rhythm too.
