The magnificent light from the full moon, inspired this one!

 Moonlight  Madness
by Amber "V" Moonstone

4/7/12

Illuminating orb,
so full and bursting
with moonglow magic
why do you bring such madness?

The wolves howl at the full moon,
the crazies come out,
there is no mercy,
so I must absorb your energy.

Tonight, standing on the naked shore,
I reach for your moonlight madness,
envelope me in moonbeams
that will make my soul soar.

Enlighten my mind,
so that the madness
of yesterday will fade
and the magic of tonight will remain.

Lately, the full moon
shines with a  brilliance of
two moons striving to become one.
A twin soul of magical moon energy.

Can the moonlight abolish
the madness so that the light
will shine within all of my days
till the next full moon begins the cycle once again.

Tell me, Moon, will I abandon this madness,
and become light and free
sending me on a dynamic journey
toward everlasting peace and joy.

Yes, this moon does answer,
it is willing to release the madness,
that surrounds each and everyone of us,
embrace this energy and become free to live your life!

There is nothing like a full moon and the cool air of spring to bring out the madness that is related to nighttime hunting and procreation. The light of the moon and so different and compelling. A beautiful poem that gives me a remembrance of full moons past.

There is always something compelling about that moon especially when it is full and creamy in the horizon. Beautiful and magical write.

The moon and the mystery it holds close to its cheese-like covering, will forever and ever compel man and beast to revel in its strange darkness.
