| How the flesh can mask such quietness of soul and spirit at times, Belle, but how infinitely precious the moments that we can steal aside from the press of material life in order to engage and sustain our REAL inner being with even the hint of such profound eternal truths. As the flesh wears away (and all that goes with it) the spirit shines brighter and becomes released to fully appreciate the bigger picture... at least, that has been my experience when very close to death at one point. Nothing can compare with the assurance of such things. Beautifully confident in tone and so thoughtfully well-expressed. xx |

Listen to the silence of your heart (a poem I wrote a while back this year) When we listen to the silence or quiet, we learn so much about our inner being.
Lovely work as always, Belle,
Much peace, love and light

Quiet times can be a wonderful distraction to the clutter of this worlds living but if too much quiet they can also give us too much time to think and dwell....I guess the trick is to find a balance....

| You et this up masterfully, La Belle. I just love it when the poetry veers into the mysteries which surround and infuse us. And it seems pain is needed for the mysteries to be fully understood. Good writing. |
