A Prayer For Our Troops and Our Country

For all that are coming home and for those who are not.

We pause today and take time

to give our reverence and appreciation.

We all “Thank you so much”

for those willing to give the ultimate sacrifice,

so we can enjoy freedom, peace and our way of life.

We salute you!

God bless you!

God have mercy on us.

In God’s Holy name we pray,

May God continue to Bless the U.S.A.

Amen

We can never stop supporting our troops...those going and those returning...and those who are no longer with us. Without them...we would have no freedom. Bless you for this reminder. Well done. Merry Christmas to all. lindalaw

Before they remove the Stars and Stripes from our flag, by saying it is a religious symbol and therefore unconstitutional to fly on our public buildings, can we all huddle under it one more time, though bullet riddled and blood-stained, and in the spirit of Francis Scott Key, pray for our heroes today? With this tribute you wrote to those who fell, and to those who still stand tall, I hold a mirror to reflect their glowing bravery and proud salute, to illuminate you my poet brother and fellow Christian soldier!
