My Prayer For You

I pray for many people early every morning. When the sun comes up! This morning before I said my morning prayers, this poem came to me.

MY PRAYER FOR YOU

I said a prayer this morn

When the day was still brand new

The birds were quickly singing

And the grass was full of dew.

My wish for you this day my friend

Is peace and love without end.

I pray your day

Will be the one

You hoped that it would be.

The angels spread their wings

With love

And guide you safely.

I pray you feel the love

And grace of the Lord above

As you start your day

And continue on your way.

Know that I will still be here

Praying all day through.

I hope you feel

The love I’m sending

From the Lord and me

To you.
