Night Watch by Susan K. Smith Thursday, September 25, 2008 Rated "G" by the Author. Share Print Save Become a Fan This was inspired by flying in a small plane over a bay near the Pacific Ocean. It was night and the crescent moon was reflecting on the water. It was very peaceful.
*Night Watch* The Crescent Moon shines on the dark sea In tranquility. Moon light shimmers as the night waves break On a silent lake. The Moon is so still as creatures sleep Within the deep. The Moon promises soon that night will be done -- The Sun will come. How quiet is the night -- moon lit night When all seems right! *© January 30, 1988, S. K. Smith*
