Night Watch

This was inspired by flying in a small plane over a bay near the Pacific Ocean. It was night and the crescent moon was reflecting on the water. It was very peaceful.

Night Watch

The Crescent Moon shines
     on the dark sea
 In tranquility.

Moon light shimmers as the night waves break
    On a silent lake.

The Moon is so still
    as creatures sleep
Within the deep.

The Moon promises soon

that night will be done --
 The Sun will come.

How quiet is the night -- moon lit night
      When all seems right!
