To judge a Booke you have to look inside, as
a cover is only an inkling of the true treasure!
I am but a drowning man, gasping for Truth
as if my life depended on it... and to me, the
Truth is a Sacred Cow, but all that I can see
around me, are people who want Hamburger!
The hardest Truth for Man to see, is the one
that stares back... from the other side of the
looking glass... as it is far easier to deny that
Truth that one is no longer young and athletic,
than it is to except that reality... is conflicting
with the mortality of life; and I am older, but
not yet old... just a half truth... not quite a lie,
one for mid life... how so very human this is!

| Ah, yes, Gary.. the "sacred cow"... While they 'clamor for hamburger', as you aptly suggest, let us not forget the immortal words of that "headstrong" lady, Marie Antoinette and from now on, "let them eat cake"... as my beloved John Keats says: 'Beauty is truth, truth, beauty"... keep tellin' it like it is, Mr. S. Some of us are listening. Yep.. katy xox. |
