This was written while I was falling in love with my husband back in 1990.

To Be Held

I was once told
To be held in a manís arms
Would save me from harmÖ
Or so I was told.

I was once told
To be held in a manís gaze
Was trying to figure out a mazeÖ
Or so I was told.

I was once told
To be in a manís heart
And two would never partÖ
Or so I was told.

Until now, Iíve never known
Until now, Iíve never been shown

Oh, but now I know how it isÖ
To be held in a manís arms.

SG and will that keep you going for a life time, with more and more
poems and tributes that grow and grow? Surely it will not be the final experience. You might have titled the poem: "Now I Know". Bill Murray
