This is a large volume of poetry (560 pps) which seeks to capture the spirit and issues ordinary individuals (myself included) struggle with here at the on-set of the Oba..

Love Poem

The cold is colder
As if we’re poor
Sky more full of stars
And they’re brighter
Moon more voluptuous
Closer and less secretive
Night passes heavily slowly
Days quick, precious::::
winter’s coming.

Trees now bare
And in their bareness
More similar and yet
Further apart::::appear
To be reaching harder::::
The firmness of your flesh
Your eyes alive alive
As if through our years
Our roots and tops tangle
Pulling us closer

Straight out through
Both Our physical selves
Touch gentle fingers touch
Engage the fascia
Warm muscle warm
Bone straight down
To our soul’s repose::::
We are one within
A non-mythological forever.
