Your poetic voice shines a welcomed light upon the blessing of a comradeship that most probably take for granted or rarely consider to the depth that you do. Sometimes simplistic, sometimes philosophical, often spiritual, these beautiful lines both celebrate and empower one of the primary missions of THE WRITTEN WORD.

| Standing O, Rich! Couldn't agree more and you have wonderfully expressed what I would like to reiterate every single day I'm here - I am so glad you have done this for me today! :)) But you are so right... I started writing 20 months' ago and a fellow writer introduced me here - and I've never looked back since and am loving the privilege of undertaking a Creative Writing university course at the moment - impossible, had it not been for the encouragement and inspiration I have been given by the folks here. Thank you so much for your fine tribute and salute, but, like steel sharpens steel, each voice is unique and a valuable and a necessary part of the totality... without YOUR voice, thoughts and words our Anthem would be incomplete. Hope you will be still as bright-eyed and bush-tailed about it all as me after a further 16 months - I'm sure you will be - thank you for your camaraderie and artistic talents shared with us. LOL Kate xx |

Thank You Rich! I've been on AD for three years, and you are right on the money when you say, there is an amazing amount of talent inside these walls. There is heart and soul, being poured out here, and it's a grand thing to be a part of it's wholesomeness.
I've learned all I know right here, from the Masters of the written word. Bits from one and bits from another, and once in a while I think they've force fed me, the inspiration and the need to grow. I've been up and down, but when it's all said and done, I return so very Blessed.
This is truly a community, nothing short of Inspiring Masters. Each and everyone of them.
Rich, Keep writing, the rest of us, will keep Reading, and learning from each other.
Thank You! Take care, and I'll be looking for many more years of your work!

Rich, thank you for sharing this superb poem. It is a tribute both to your ability to perceive, and to the AD family and its character. We are a fine group of people, if I may say so;-) though diverse in many ways, still able to enjoy sharing ourselves with each other and being friendly and helpful wherever we can.And now you are part of that family!
Joy and Peace,
Eileen |
