"Go Ye into all the world, and preach the gospel."
Jesus came into the world not to condemn the world, but through Him the world might be saved.
THE BATTLE RAGES
People of God, armor up the battle is on
The arrows of the unholy are unleashed on the Son
The kings of the earth, have taken their stand
Against His Christ from the unbridled man
Freedom is freedom if the standard is held
The standard, the Word, has silently been feld
No right, no wrong, their consciences seared
You being Christís become the brunt of their jeers
They think, if I believe what I know, it will come at a cost
I must stop from this sin, and confront that Iím lost
It is in my heart to know there is God
If I deny He exists I may escape His cruel rod
Iíll bewilder His followers and cause them great storm
Iíll work in society to make evil the norm
God says: beware ole man you are a fool
Heís coming to pay you, that is the rule
He who sits in the heavens laughs
In His children on earth, He is the thorn in their paths
You fool, you fool, soon you will see
Soon does mean soon, and from Him you canít flee
Heíll come to pay you as a thief in the night
Your cohorts the devils will take you in fright
Kicking wonít help, screaming wonít do
Even the devils will call you fool too
They know as do you the existence of God
They know, as do you, on His own you shanít trod
People of God, Arm up the battle is on
Help them to find Him, before theyíre all gone
He has caused you to be a fisher of men
Gird up; Gird up, pray them all back again
We were once defiant and fugitives from God
Till somebody prayed, and spared us His rod
His rod and His staff comfort and direct
Hell bound and wayward, we are now His elect
He did it for you; Heíll do it for them
He loves us all, even the worst of these men
Time is so short, and salvation so nigh
Help in the field; please donít just stand by
The hole in heaven will be filled one great day
By the throngs of the wayward, who were understood to say
Jesus forgive me, I just didnít know
My hatred of you and your children was so
I mocked you and them, for all their beliefs
Please forgive me dear Lord, and wash away all my griefs
Thank you for believers, who didnít give up
When we spurned them and mocked them for drinking your cup
Now make me as one of these men
Now Iíll suit up for battle, Amen

|Thank you for sharing your poem of inspiration - that gives God the Glory. We all know, who are in one spirit that God exist and knows our thoughts and our purpose in this world. Continue with your light upon that darkness that seeks to over shadow us all.

|I wish I had the Faith you have! How does one find something after it's been lost?
I guess I'm not really looking!

|We must always remember that god is love
Anything short would be to dishonor his name
May you walk in peace and always find love in your heart

|Valerie, This is such a powerful write. I'm glad I dropped by to peruse your writes. More and more our world tilts down the slipper slope. The anti-Christ permeates all corners of our world. Man's heart continues to harden. Yes, you are right, we believers must not give up the fight, for time is indeed short for the lost. Great write, my friend!

|While soaring around in His heavenly space,
You visited my den, and left your sweet grace.
Thank you for seein my call,
For hearin the Truth, and most of all;
For knowin His Spirit is my muse,
And does guide me.
That for His chosen hearts,
His Spirit and mine, do plead;
That conviction and renewal, take place,
When my writes,
Am traveling, just checked my den, and had to thank you for your awesome comments. I just read a few of your writes, and will be back often. Keep up the "GOOD NEWS" spews. Art
