I Saw You Today!

I Helped Raise Four Children, Two Boys and Two Girls (brothers & Sisters).
I was not able to give birth, but those four children met all of my maternal needs. I have never felt childless.
All of them got a good education and became productive humans-being. Never cause me to be ashamed. And they are God fearing Christians.

I saw you on the front pew at my WEDDING

I saw you as I walked down the isle

I saw you as each of you covered your mouth to snicker

I saw your pretty dresses and shiny suits

I really saw the BIG SMILE on each of your faces

I saw you at my WEDDING RECEPTION

I saw you take a slice of the cake and punch

I saw you as we walked across the way from the church to our house

I saw you as each of you hugged me and called me MAMA

I saw you as I got the smaller children ready for bed and tucked them in

I saw you get up the next morning

And I really heard you call me MAMA

The joy of being called MAMA put peace in my heart that never left.

As you got grown you called me your MOM.

I really SAW you today! Thank YOU!

God gets the Glory!

It does not matter if we give birth to children, as long as we are loved by those around us. I am so glad you have found that joy, Betty.
Take care,
Jill
