They stole her horse, on her two legs she stands alone searchin' for her roan, said of her passionate womanly forces, beds married women, causes burning houses divorces.
Hanny Caulder, huntin' after midnight in the town of Bridgewater
Fiery passion comes to haunt her, finds her roan burned to the ground, saddle charred, note found, "Ride this," signed The husbands of Bridgewater.
Corral lights up from the reflection, punishing womanly affection, happens to be the sheriff running for re-election whose wife was in Hanny's bed, the town is on fire, Hanny Caulder pulls the roan's hot skeleton with barbed wire, drags it to the center of town Bridgewater, "I've had every one of your wives! Burn Bridgewater Burn! You got the wrong roan, you bastards, this horse I boarded for the sheriff running for re-election. Ride this, you murderer, I'm going back to your wife!"

LMAO. I agree, the last lines made me laugh, while the whole poem kind of made me smile. This is very good sis, and I loved reading it.
May the Lord Jesus bless you, and those whom you love, and be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, joy to the world, peace on earth, & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your little sister, Barbie

| Blimey!! The title alone had my heart and mind flippin out, Sage... all my immediate familial roots are based down and around Bridgwater in Somerset... and only a stone's throw from where the legendary Dick Turpin, notorious 18th century Highwayman, hung out with his trusty steed, Black Bess. He had her shoed back-to-front to put his trackers off his trail, you know... reckon the husbands rather than Hanny could do with such a ruse here. Like Dick, she has them rather stuffed, doesn't she?! Bit Godfather(mother)esque! At least a bit more mud-in-your-eye than Shotgun Annie... or Orphan Annie for that matter... |

What a nice name
" Hanny " is, enjoyed
her craic with the
ladys of the town
Quite the booster
this Hanny, all of
their wives, whew
Nice show of Hanny's
defiance, and showing
the murders for what
they were
Nice all around ( S C ) |
