I have seen a flood of tears,
enough for an ocean through the years.

I have run from what some call love,
and jumped right into a push and shove.

I have fought the fiercest men,
raged in battle, and found peace through Zen.

I have walked through desert storms,
where lightning strikes in many forms.

I have bathed in jungle rains,
and seen it destroyed to what remains.

I have thrived in ghetto rooms,
and starved in mansions that were tombs.

I have been both rich and poor,
my gain and loss, you could not keep score.

I have been both loved and used,
somewhat cherished and somewhat abused.

Some have called me by my name,
others cursed me, it's all the same.

I will see Man's rise and fall,
and will go on without you all.

I'm always moving, never still,
a constant hunger I can't fulfill.

I have been measured mathematically,
and know for a fact you can count on me.

I'm unaffected by what goes on,
and Tick and Tock are my song.

Now you know me from my rhyme,
if you don't my name is Time.

A grand poem, Joseph! Love the form as the rhyme ticks like hands on a clock. Well done!
