Love & wisodm true. What stuck out for me was;
Pull the child away
from feeding at the mule’s tail.
Give the baby food.
What a frank image.

| Your poem my brother reaffirms we are spiritual being above all else we know and that we are connected to the universe where we are all attached for the greater good and design. When we learn to appreciate each day that we are granted in this brief physical existence we become prayer and life and death are one but most of all eternal. When the Creator gave your spirit a body He gave more hope to the world. Peace!!! |

The painting is an inspiration in itself.
The poetry is like a book of inspiring quotes, all from Aberjhani.
I think I like #2, the first 3 lines of #1, and the healing counsel of "write a soft poem to..." in #3. Forgive me for dissecting your work, it contains so many good thoughts!

I love the power in the commanding statements (section 3), the beautiful affirmations, the weeping, the "in-you-face" attention from everything human that commissions us to behave like the Divine.
I'm so glad I took the time to read this after studying the news texts about Comair flight 5191 which saddens my heart, but strenghthens my commitment to make the most of this frail fleshly life by giving even more of myself away to others. We don't have to be old to be swept away, and God's timing is a wakeup call for everything that happens in this world to us is a lesson for those of us who remain.
blessin's, you need to be in the Hall of Poet Fame (if there ain't one there should be. . .and you'd be a stellar contender Brotha Aberjani.)

in your lover’s smiling soul
while she, he, wears yours." but then, I love them all. Thank
you for all you do, and have done {and will}, to promote peace,

Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire comes, it is a tree of life.
A wise exhortation, Poet Aberjhani, to view ones surroundings and enemies through the eyes of love and forgiveness. Releasing oneself from the mental and emotional shackles that invariably imprison the soul, will always liberate the heart and mind to soar above the clouds.
The view of Eagles transcends the view from behind the mules tail.
I salute you Poet. Angel of Healing: for the Living, the Dying, and the Praying, has cooled my heart with the pure waters of wisdom.
In fraternity ...
