enlightenment and all engulfing wisdom sadly arrives almost always too late out of synch with original, creative and unusual, events and initiatives

Asynchronicity in the journey of life

I reveal my love to you
I make myself vulnerable
You shy away, ignore, condemn and shun
I hurt, shy away, condemn and shun
I plunge myself into my gooddies and substitutes

You declare your love,
You make yourself vulnerable
you reveal your love
I canít find you and you canít find me
I canít see you
And you canít see me
a curious fog engulfs and occupies all space and all heart
thicker and thicker still

It is all too late

ďI am the enemy you killed my friendĒ*
The cycle goes on
Out of rhythm
out of synch
unless ...

*verse from Wilfred Owen

ASYNCHRONICITY IN THE JOURNEY OF LIFE takes the reader inside that strange paradox of how we sometimes try so hard to connect with each other's humanity but at the same time manage to sabotage those same connections. Within this slender poem is enough wisdom to fill a library. Thank you for writing and sharing it.

how profoundly true - I always have been "out of synch" or too late in all things time-critical in my life. it is so annoying. sometimes, my friend, we must MAKE our own synchronicity. -- Jeff
