The Exorcist

I am the Exorcist.
Sit in my presence,
release all pain to me now.
Release all pain to me now.

I am the Exorcist.
All the evils of this world
pass through me now,
without consequence.

I am the Exorcist.
The Gods and Angels surround me
as you release your deepest pains.
I hold onto nothing except the love of God.

I am the Exorcist.
No entity of Earth's creation
has any power over me.
I sit in this stillness
knowing I am healed before I am broken.

I am the Exorcist.
I break my Ego into crumbling nothingness
just for you.
Have no request of me other than to remove your resistance
to the source of all love.

I am the Exorcist.
The Shaman for the present time.
It is not the past that will heal you.
It is the here and now . . .

the here and now,
the here and now.

As Allen Watts has written; "The taboo against knowing who we really are." And that my dear poet would be our reflection of the reflection of God in all the infinite beauty found in the silver spiral deep in the center of our souls. You have found it in this beautiful write. You have found it inside yourself. But don't say a word about it to anyone. LOL

"I am the Exorcist.

So many think healing can only be achieved by reliving past experiences but isn't it what a person does in the "here and now" that really heals? The loving and compassionate, verbal and physical actions a person takes in the "now" can heal a broken spirit. Self-esteem and confidence can be renewed and mended by actions in the "now".

Thank you for this beautiful written healing poem.

A tribute to simple folks who surrender themselves to absorb the pains of those they love. It reminds me of my Grandmother. Thank you Jenni.

Sincerely,
