A woman's dream of returning to her birth place in England.

Oh! England I'm coming home I was removed from my country to a place  far away.  Oh! what a beautiful land, with oppourtunities to expand.  She's lovely like you with numerous events to nuture the soul.  This location is America.

I love America! she built strength  in me uncovering many secretive truths reguarding my identity. Oh! what a place.  America you infuse my heart with love.

England your my ancestry ,so now I reinstate my british birthright.  Oh! England  I'm coming home. The thoughts of you brings tears of felicity, warmth and love extending from every fiber of my exsistence.

I desire a afternoon tea or sharing a teatime story with Lady Edna or perhaps a drive to a country cottage. Then strolling through a lavendar garden, inhailing the freshness of love. Oh! England I'm coming home.

I hear the winds resound, whispering she's almost here. There is ecohing sounds of birds singing praises to God stating.  "Dear Lord your british child has responded to the call,"  Oh! England love has come home.

May you return home in good time and enjoy the memories of your younger years. And if inclined to travel further, cross the imaginary border and visit my wife and I in Dumfries. haste ye back.

This is a very good emotional, and heartfelt poem. I lived in Autralia for 8 months, and felt that was home, because the people there just go about their business, and don't bother anyone, unless they are bothered. I had to come back to the states tho because of severe medical problems, because I had to pay for everything in Oz.

I wish you very well in going back to your birthright. We all deserve to live where we feel at home, and alive.

I could smell the lavender gardens, feel the wind in my hair driving down a country road, I could see myself having a Devonshire tea, and talking about the queen. I could actually see the little country cottages that dots the English landscape. That is how bright, and visible your images in this poem are. Thank you for sharing. Happy New Year to you and yours Mariann.

May the Lord Jesus bless you, and those whom you love and who love you, and be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, joy to the world, peace on earth & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your den sister, Barbie

I can smell the lavendar--feel the wind--hear the whisper, "she's almost here." Never lost your passion for life or your gift to write, Mariann. You need to share it and we love to hear it.

A new friend,
