all my life
or at least ever since i can remember
ive wanted to prefrom
up on stage
those lights
the audience
singing, dancing, acting
i can do that
thats my thing
thats my life plan
its all ive ever known
i dont want anything else
if i fail at that
ive failed my life
ive got no back up plans
nothing else strikes my attention
when i was little
i thought
how easy
ive got life made
nothing is ever as it seems
youve got to work
to accomplish your goals
your dreams
i know this now
im scared
that i wont amount to much
ill never get out of this town
dreams dont happen over nite
i know this
gotta work gotta move
gotta go
dont stop because of someones cruel words
dreams dont diminish over nite
but your esteem can
i know this
this is me
