Perhaps some events in life are like droplets clinging on to window panes. While there they look beautiful. Yet when more came and fall down their beauty seemed to be lost amongst images of the real world.

as I look out of this window
engaging those crystal droplets
on why do they hurry so
to their demise down below

I see those images intruding
from afar that aura of grimness fit and proper
is it that halo, lingering
from this head to another, flirting.

on this land they're burning bodies
some moved again painting the sand crimson
this crescent  corner they burn'd
thus, black smoke choked their minds

these crystal droplets sang of choices
or perhaps freedom should be forc'd
when logic and common sense are portentous
so they could hide behind turban and robes

silent hands pulled this dark blanket
stars are now shy and silent, shamed by man's intolerance
the books are never wrong
only those dark hands that turn'd the pages
they are Machiavellian.
