As October approaches, it reminds me of the unpredictable winds and changing colors. Men are like the month of October, so refreshing, yet unpredictable.

Men are like the October foliage and wind.
Uomini! Sono gli stesse dei foglie e del vento di Ottobre. Cambia, ma la sincerita del suo cuore non cambia.  Rimanga vicino lui sotto la coperta in Ottobre. Non lasci quando l'inverno arriva.
Men are like the wind and foliage of October. They change, but the sincerity of their hearts do not change.  Stay close  to him under the blanket in October. Do not leave him when the winter arrives.
By Joanna M. Leone

They enter our lives and show us their vibrant and vivacious coats of crimson, orange and gold.

In the beginning, we are filled with excitement, curiousity, and the newness of the relationship.

Men capsize our hearts, tangle  the windchimes in our trees, and disorganize everything on our porch.

Yet, the scent of a man is refreshing, sexy, mysterious, and decadent.

Men touch the tranquil lake with their fingers, and suddenly you will see a thousand ripples across the fresh waters.

October mornings have a new meaning, as we find ourselves stopping along our road, simply to admire the vivacious colors of the man's coat.

A man distracts us, as we fall deeper in love.

We may find ourselves stopping in the midst of a busy morning, and we begin to think of the colors that he had shown to us.

His laughter, humor, curiousity, energy, intelligence, and sincerity is the gold sleeve of his coat,

Passion, desire, and love are revealed on the crimson colored sleeve.

His unpredictable ways and boldness are on the orange collar of his coat.

Men change their coats so often, yet we fall in love with each color.

Just as we become comfortable with the early September air, a special man enters our lives and illuminates every corner of our landscape.

As he calls us on the phone, or send us romantic email messages, it is all the colors of the man that we see, as he touches our hearts delicately.

The wind of the man knocks over our plants, pounds on our doors, and windows.

A man truly changes our lives, and we always remember the days and nights of longing for the man.

Most of all, the wind of a man knocks at your heart, and causes it to capsize.

He is the rustic, outdoor scent which creeps into your most comfortable room, as he leaves his path of leaves from your porch into your hallway.

You always have a sign, or a special mark which a man has left behind.

Suddenly, as the wind grows more fierce, we become confused by the special man.

There is never a warning as the man changes, and we must never become comfortable with any one season, as a man has many seasons to show us.

We long for his vibrant colors, yet he shows us the brown, frayed, and abandoned leaves.

He has a lonely or a dark side, and removes the colors from his branches.

Sometimes, a man needs tenderness, as his sturdy branches become wary.

He shakes his vibrant and vivacious colors, and longs for the Spring time air.

This confusion in the seasons of a man's life is called love and desire.

We may find ourselves wishing for the full trees, fresh air, and chill that he left on our backs,

Yet, as his leaves fall and become curled against our doorway, we need to hold him tightly, for it can not always be October.

When a man shows his brown leaves, the closeness of our bodies, and our love will be the man's guide.

November can be appreciated for the fireplace, peacefulness, and simple comforts which you will enjoy with him.

The illumination of a man in your heart in October suddenly becomes a dim bulb in your heart, as you must help him to find his way.

Fill his heart and his night with understanding, compassion, and sincerity.

Soon, as the crystal blankets coat your yard in the winter months, it is then that this man may need an extra blanket.

Longing for the springtime is not a solution.

It is appreciating a man through all of the season's of his life.

As it becomes colder, your hearts will soon be intertwined with the songs and stories of Christmas, the scent of pine, and the most delicate ornaments which you have picked out together.

The garden may seem hopeless, as it is buried beneath layers of white, fluffy blankets in the winter air. It is hard to imagine that this man will ever bring your garden to life again.

Just as you are getting comfortable in the winter, and cleaning up the Christmas pine needles, the man will show his pink coat.

Everything will be new and fresh again.

This is truly love, as man is always changing.

As you sit by the lake together, and enjoy the signs of summer, you remember the hard times.

Yet, you hold on because you know that this special man will show you the wind and colors of the fall foliage once again.

If a man does not return to you, it is because he does not understand the seasons of your life, and is unable to appreciate your colors.

Love is always changing, but the sincere heart of a man remains the same.

Se un uomo lo abbandona nello scuro ed aria fredda, quindi non era amore.
If a man abandons you in the dark and cold air, then it was not love.

Even if the words become bitter and cold, it is always the beautiful colors that you will remember.

For it is these colors which cause forgiveness to grow in your heart. Without forgiveness, it was not love at all.
