PRAGMATICS

Serendipity,
like designing kismets careened by providence,
has a voice of logic...

Pragmatics

Pathos vacates the brick mortar of permanence;

Like the moth lost inside the flames of ignorance…

Circling about confusion beneath the prisms of awareness,

the troth of knowledge pummels the enslaved souls of obtusity…

Barraged by derisions' stolen facets of molten logic,

the deranged mind of corruption sees no reflection of its self…

Walking with lassitude’s shoulders cowardly broken,

harnessed realisms remain hidden to no other…

Behind shameless locutions through purposes of procrastination,

the vengeance of an insubordinate challenge is vainly blind…

Heralding the swollen ego of false dominations;

Underestimating the verdical strengths of real dominance…

Silence is worn posturing like the obvious beggar of poignancy;

Unable to penetrate the walls of conceptual axioms…

Unattainable by the sloth of reality sustaining upright virtues;

Loathsome enervations avoid realities empowered arms of truth…

Still unseen by its own shaded reflection;

akin the vagrant wastrels of misers forgotten;

Yet, upon second glance;

Annoying like that inclination of hunger;

Festering with unanswered questions;

Irrational…

Illogical…

Illegitimate…

Lost within its own broken reflection of reality;

Never once intimidating the orb of pragmatics…

ah yes, pragmatism -- Washington politicians are all devoid of its call to reason -- well done Vickie -- smack them in the face with a good dose of reality -- much peace and love my friend -- JMW

A deeper look into the questions that have haunted mankind throughout the ages. The wisdom we seek, the answers, the truth, always so close yet far away. In some thinly veiled fog where depending on which side of the bridge we stand, we find what we've known all along. A masterful piece, indeed, V!

Victoria,
Love the imagery of the second line. There are many things to like about this piece, but I especially like the feeling you bring to life with the line "Annoying like that inclination of hunger". A masterpiece:)

Vicky,
You know I love your work. This poem show a different side of your poetry, a darker side. I understood this soul and the convictions of his soul. A powerful piece of work here my dear friend. Brilliant!

A trip down the corridors of a soul divided in many part to make a whole, but we get only glimpses, flashes, screaming containing half words because we go too fast to hear all in our eagerness to see all the picture.
Outstanding.

Vickie, intensely darker than most of your poetry, but I really loved it.
You show us another side of your talented heart.

...enslaved souls of obtuseness... isn't that just bang on girl? I confess that I needed to role each line around all for corners of this square head til I could make it speak to me. You make me work at this but well worth the ride. Blessings, J'nia
