its about a woman whos husband left for a war and never returned to her.

when in the darkness day will come
past the moon is the rising sun

morning will be here soon
then will come the afternoon

so when the darkness comes again
i pray that i will see you soon
everyday is like this so

when in the darkness i will cry
i"ll wipe the tears from my eyes
for everyday i shall wait for you to come home soon.
