Song lyrics in the way of Chicago style blues(?)

Texas says  his mother-in-law   has been feedin’ him poison.
From the look in her eye, the bitch has reason to try.
At first glance, you would think   that my brother’s paranoid,
but he’s been bleedin’ inside- the doctors don’t know why.
You know, his drugged out years, and his love for the bottle
have some  saying his brain wont hit full throttle.
When they slab the poor bastard, and tag his damn toe,
      will they believe him, then?
      Will anyone care to know?

That’s why I ain’t crying.
I ain’t crying.
I ain’t crying
wolf
      anymore.

My cousin called,      said she’s down to her last best friend
(one like the sis she never had    passed away the other day,)
but I can’t even cough up a half ass  resurrection,
and the apology I spit comes off  sounding too lame.
Now, everyone believes  I don’t care for anyone
because I suck at giving   good consolation.
If  I write a eulogy to express how I feel
      will anyone believe it,
      or care if it’s real,

because I ain’t crying?
I ain’t crying.
No use crying
when the wolf
      is always at the door.

The autumn sun fell on a thick black book,
and the world never tried to take a real look.
Although the leaves covered all anyone cared to see,
they looked the other way and let the miracles be.

Staying clean, on the path, with a grip on my panic.
I’ve seen the end of days in a myriad of ways,
thirty years or so, ago (back then, I was kind of manic).
Now, I’m sweating out the best of my last dying days.
So, when I tell you this time, the shit’s gonna get real,
will you trust that it’s more   than just a bad feeling?
When I say there’s no way out  for the wicked anywhere,
      will anyone believe?
      Will anyone care?

I ain’t crying.
I ain’t crying
I won’t be crying.
with wolves
      anymore.
