These places are so constructed to feel good.

A building as if

a holiday venue

inviting you through its beckoning doors.

Allured by the music

you know oh so well

your caught in the web of the shopping mall.

Around and around

it leads you so sweet

as every shop displays its treats

into and out of

you pass without a care

while your wallet is shouting

beware beware.

Flowers and waterfalls

balloons for the kids

places to eat and seats for a rest.

Then long before you know it

hours have passed

in your hand are bags

of things not asked,

things that only caught the eye

and sad old wallet gives a sigh.
