Freedom is not a gift, it must earned and paid for.

 

 The end is near, they tell us and the writing is on the wall.

The enemy is within our lines and surely we shall fall.

But I’ll fix my bayonet, stand my ground, and, fight to save this land.

For my life they may well take from me, but I shall  die a fighting free man.
