Addresses and things, how it has changed.

Talking to people

in so many ways

how my father

would have been amazed.

It was not that far

into the past

that my father

did pass.

Yet there was no mobil phones

no inernet

or sattelite television.

No email addresses

as of today

everything was sent

the envelope way.

Spam not in tins

as he would expect

and cookies

that you do not eat,

things in hands

without wires

holographic images

from the past.

How he would have

sat aghast

at the images transmitted

that were live,

of family and friends

in real time

talking like they are

in the room.

in 33 years

how the world has changed

how he would

have been amazed,

I talk here

as well as there

my life in all sorts of places

in part I share.

Even i must admit

how fast it is

that things

have changed.

Yes. How fast things have changed, maybe not only for the better. Communication must have been more to the point and thought through when it took longer for it to get to it's recipient.

Yes they have changed. I sit here talking? to you probably at least 6,000 miles away. Very fine writing, John.

GOD BLESS
