This metaphor defines an emotion one may or most definitly will come across at any point in ther lives. The metaphors used are suitable and definite! Thanku for reviews.

Rage

Blood turns to stone,
Oxygen exits my veins;
Acid leaks down my throat,
As I am hit, full-force,
By a flash flood of my own doing.

I wear nothing but flesh;
No protection from this
Hellish heat;
This jagged boulder
Obscuring my gut.

Wafts of cheap public toilets
Slide through my nostrils,
‘Josie’s a fucking slut’
-Slurred on the walls, they replicate the flame
 Encasing me

Smoke from the Auschwitz chimneys
Seep through my pores,
I should have known,

But no one ever does.
The way it lurks in on its prey
Pounces, and then envelops you;
Captivates you;
Strikes you
To the core of your dignity

Rips it out to masticate it; stark,
Right in your face
Staring down at you,
piercing, cursing your eyes

With His own.

Deep, deep is the words to the poem / Welcome to AD and I hope you will have a good experience here / The way this poem is written gives the reader much latitude in the way to interpret it / I see it as a wake-up call . . .
