Personal Mine

One person's way of dealing with sress and how she gets through the day.

Slowly, quietly, my body raises the breath within me
as a miner raises coal from the earth’s belly.
Slowly, I twist and bend and stretch.
I mine my breath.

Worries, deadlines, anxiety, and fears
disappear into my yoga beam of light.
Slowly, I contract, release, and stretch.
Again, I mine my breath.

Quietly, I go within my pit
for peace, confidence, and serenity.
I mine my breath, breathe deeply,
and tunnel through another day.

Wow, what a beautiful aphorism. Allthough I hope that some days you wake up, jump out of bed and happily go to work.
