I strongly object to having my personal boundaries violated by those zealots who, booklets in hand, roam about public spaces pushing their various religious agendas. To each their own, of course, but... go away!

A real True Believer, I am, I am,
my eyes all glittery bright.
With the brains and sense of a Pismo clam,
I know that my cause is right.

My mission in life is to save Mankind.
You sinners I must reform.
I’ll preach till you’ve just about lost your mind.
(For fanatics, that’s quite the norm.)

I’ll pray for your soul with amens and whoops,
so you won’t be sent to Hell.
I’ll get in your face with my holy troops,
and my zeal you shall not quell.

Don’t tell me to leave, for I will not go
till I’ve worn you down at last.
You must become part of the Faithbug Show,
and leave reason in the past.

Some say I’m a nuisance, a pox, a pest.
Y’know what? That’s really sad.
My vapid self-righteousness keeps ME blessed.
Don’t like it? Well, too darned bad.

LW

Christianese as Dayvid puts it, is the farthest from Christianity I can think of, don't go preaching, but teaching by doing Christs work, they were not just words but example, theirs is only words, cheap at that. Right on! Jasmin Horst

YES! You really did capture the sentiments of those from the Faithbug Show! I too, tire of the religiosity of some folks. And the Christianese they speak.

Peace,
Dayvid
