Hell Without You

I awake to find I’m alone,
Lying in a field of short grass,
I have no memory of how I got here,
As I begin to stand,
I’m overtaken by what I see,
All around me are angels,
As far as the eye can see,
Why have I been brought here,
Is it punishment,
For how my life was led,
I know now, I must be dead,
And if it is death,
Then this must be hell,
Because anyplace without you,
Is hell.
