,

Today began a little different,

I was simply out of sway,

I woke up feeling a little spent,

And it’s all because I lost a friend yesterday.

I should have kept my passions in check,

I shouldn’t have crossed the line,

I should have kept my hands to myself.,

I shouldn’t have had so much wine.

But you were looking so good,

It’s like I was seeing you anew,

And my restraint became unglued,

As I found myself in you.

Its so sad to lose a friend,

Its sad and when it’s over,

But this is not the end,

Because now I have a lover.

A well written poem.

Disturbing, riddled and in the 'end', yesterday, wine, you, lover abutts Today began, I should have, But you were,
Its so sad. Dramatic and dreamy, in a way, Munyasa. Sadness personified. Enjoyed.
