To give to you my son
Alas I knew within my heart there was none,
You needed, and did not possesse
But still my heart yearned to give
To you a gift to mark this day
But son, the only gift I could give
Is my love for you to cherish
For it 's given with tears of joy
Of the happiness you have given
In all the years gone by
But know that this day
Was your greates gift
You gave to me
So still I wish you the blessing of this day
The gift of love to help you
Know that love is
The greatest gift to have
is to share it with all
Who are given to share your life
