Poem to honor my Dad on Father's Day

Mom, Dad, and daughters three,
Fun filled, places we did flee,
Like visiting Virginia's Natural Bridge,
While driving through the scenic Blue Ridge

There were roller coasters at Hershey PA,
And long packed car rides to Betterton for the day,
Memories like Atlantic City's Steel Pier,
As well Ocean City's Wild West Frontier

We saw Williamsburg and "the Old Country",
Weeks sunbathing at New Jersey's Wildwood by the sea,
Trips to see Pennsylvania's Amish way of life,
In addition, there was the excitement of taking our first flight

Time flew right by and this girl grew up,
Daydreaming she sits here sipping from her favorite tea cup,
She thinks about the adventurous life she's had,
And realizes she had the best Mom and Dad,

She knows she certainly won't ever forget,
And Dad she wants you to never have no regrets,
She cannot say it enough but she will say it again,
I love you now and I loved you then,

This trip down memory lane must come to a stop,
Happy Birthday My Dear Dad to the crème of the crop!

A lovely tribute to your Father MJ... Going down memory lane brings back many fond memories of your childhood and the sweet memories of the past. I sensed that your childhood was very happy with loving parents such as yours.
