Faded roses
emblems of dying love,

their breasts
of thorn

on which the dew
glisten like an oil paint

over the Kathmandu fog,
pale and wrinkled.

What a miracle life is, Bhuwan, that we can enjoy such things as roses and mountain mists. The dark side of humanity is kept at bay when we remember all this beauty! kenny

Love the way this poem takes us from the particular and poignant of "dying love" to the wide panorama of that Kathmandu fog, Bhuwan. How clearly we can see from this that it is, perhaps, the inner landscape that always superimposes its countenance on the wider scope of our external horizons. So lovely to see you here again and I pray that all goes well for you and those you love these days. May 2011 bring you blessings in abundance. Love always, Kate xx

A gentle sting in the tail here, Bhuwan, a sense of loss and mild despair and perhaps a longing for another way, another time.
Good to see you back.

Vividly metaphorical and symbolic; your verses awaken the senses and the mind, Bhuwan. Love and peace to you, friend.
