Breathless

One of my very 1st poems

My last breath has been taken by these vampires
Searching for a passion that does not exist
Love is a word that has been replaced by lust
There is no meaning to their joining
One is the scavenger that hunts for his prey
The other, a helpless creature that hides her inner soul
My words have no definition
My thoughts diminished by hate
For he is the ruler of this being
A hostage which cannot escape
He holds her mind in the palm of his hand
Crushed by his impact
A zombie awaiting for peace
But the word will never be mentioned
For I walked down the path
In which I shall never turn back

And a very touching and delicate piece it is!
