You cant hide who you are,

Even from afar.

Though one may try to masquerade,

The facade will eventually fade.

Once exposed,

The image becomes hosed.

Time to retreat,

For it is not defeat.

Be yourself and do not put on a show,

For then you will be someone I want to know.
