In This Moment

Every now and then a particular moment comes along....and everything makes sense....another inspiration from the little bunky in the woods. It was a beautiful moonlit night......

The moon…a perfect orb in a darkened sky!
Diamond encrusted snow blankets the earth.
Lengthy shadows stroke the landscape,
Hiding behind trees…standing perfectly still!
Stars wink at the full moon, flirting unabashedly!

In the bedroom window she sits alone…
Her sigh hangs like cloud in the icy air
Wafting through the open window!
There is no more than this moment!
Body and soul in absolute harmony!

Her naked flesh tingles in a sudden breeze.
Old man winter’s ragged breath
An icy draught upon her pale skin!
And in this moment she’s certain…
She’s never been more connected to the earth!

Perfect! I can relate completely to this expressive offering. It also is very much in relation to what I posted on my Facebook page today. Thank you for sharing this gift, Anna. Love and best wishes,

Very sensual and beautiful at the same time. Winder, the moon become persons in this scene, witnesses, interacting with the pale form on the bed.
Nice.

Very beautiful, Anna. But for a lady that must go through a tunnel of snow to get out of her front door, a sudden breeze on naked flesh may not be too harsh... Truly, though, I know the feeling. The very rare sensation that all appears to be well and right.

All that “northern blood” coursing through your veins would presumably allow you to sit near an open window in the dead of winter? Not for me.... NOT ON A BET!!! A marvelous poem none-the-less. More, MORE!! Dick

Nice picture and the poem was just lovely. Course all that naked skin she was shivering in would've made a better picture. But that's just me, you know. Heehee
