more poems for us to tuck away as keepsakes.
Don't just dream, dream 24-7 !

| Your "small variations" make this even clearer as you await The Voice to break through this spiritual membrane, as if through a brightly-coloured bubble - and pop into 3D flesh-and-blood existance. Perhaps hearing its "astonished embracement" as it does so will, yes, DEFINITELY, signal the end of dreamscenes and a state of being forever wide awake and living in real-time. Love the mood and atmosphere you conjure and that smouldering sense of place; vaguely reminiscent of Seasonal Migration. And adore the play on words, too: dam dream or mad dream (thinking in reverse!)? At any rate, it is the recurring one which, when actualised, will cause the flood-gates to open and a new outflow of life and sphere of existance to begin. Another one of your recent bests and I truly believe that those poems where the flow is spontaneous and reflective of the fullness of your heart are the ones best achieved. Estupendo, Kartero! :)) xx |

Hey Jude,
The unexpected guest, like this, somehow I remember hearing this phrase during my childhood, but it usually turned out to be the dreaded Uncle Nick who smoked thos cheap cigars and had tons of brillcreame in his hair and smelled like aqua velva and couldn't keep his hands to himself. Yeah that was our unexpected and uninvited guest. I am quite sure you are not referring to my Uncle Nick, however..lol
Intense poetry overall, I feel like this is a death waiting type poem, waiting for the Grim Reaper who is not invited ever, let alone unexpected. Sometimes you just have to go with the flow, to make any sense out of life and or dreams!
Peace, light and love,
Amber |

The elusive, illusive stranger who taunts us as we wait for them to appear in a form other than a foggy haze. We sense their presence, we hear their words but the final piece of the puzzle seems to never come. We feel the love, the understanding of us, the acceptance, but never does their true form appear. Perhaps this is part of the amazing surprise that we experience when we finally shed our body for the final time. Perhaps this is part of the "Oh WOW, Oh WOW" Steve Jobs was expressing for us. I soooo can relate to this poem, Jude, it is like you have been picking through my dreams.
Take care,
Sherry |
