Your Little Lantern
She shines her lantern
Her love light for the thicket
Over the canvass of time’s compass
Describable to the visionaries
She whispers melodies to them-
Morning upon the dew drops
Sun bursts skyward days
Hours into hymnals midnight
Her seers are at rollick’s play
Wishing upon dried clover
Frolicking in the woods
Dancing with allusive wisdom
No other choices ever could
Run now little maestro
Run far far from timbers glee
Shine on the new dawn’s morning
Your little lantern you and me…
