This made me smile... as it reminded me of this "mindless" story. My 17 year old daughter, AL, who recently seemed to be missing a piece of her mind, asked which side of the head contained the brain. :) We gave her a strange look and she quickly remembered it filled her head. When her older sister was retold the story, Rachel told AL that she was right-brained. AL asked what that meant and Rachel told her that it meant she was creative. AL forcefully denied being right-brained, and then said, "Wait! What is in the left-brain?" We told her it meant she was good with numbers, language, logic, etc... AL said, "Well, I'm not left-brained either!" We all laughed as she quickly stumbled to retract her insinuation that she had no brain at all. hee, hee...

The mind...wow we should never be bored...bend it shape it anyway you want it! I really enjoyed this. I hope you enjoy my part of the country, Yorkshire...today it is very windy, though thankfully no rain...but watch out for those moors will be mind blowing!!

| Wonderful! For one who reads too much and therefore finds himself too serious minded, this was indeed a welcome relief to his mind. Like a cup of coffee in the morning though, I'm now stimulated to... you got it--read some more. Damn these Op Eds. Can't they find anything positive to writer about? |
